Notes:

Eligibility in stratified, flighted, or strati-flighted events is essentially the same as ACBL flight eligibility.  If a pair or team places in the Flight B overalls in an event, they are eligible for POTYB points.  No POTYB points will be awarded in Flight A or Premier events.

 

In Bracketed KO events a player is only eligible for POTYB points if all members of his or her team have fewer than 2000 master points. If a Bracketed KO (including morning or compact) has one bracket, then points will only be awarded to eligible teams based on actual finish i.e. if the first place team is ineligible, the 2nd place team will

receive 2nd place points only).  If a Bracketed KO (other than a morning event) has 2 brackets, the second bracket will receive POTYB points.  The top bracket will not receive POTYB points.  Morning KO’s and Morning Compact KO’s will only award POTYB points to eligible teams in the top bracket.
